Network Rail has >190,000 earthwork assets. 70,000 soil cuttings, 20,000 rock cuttings and 100,000 embankments. These assets have been inspected over the past 20 years using a digital solution called GISmo. 

EAMS is a new solution to supersede GISmo designed by Network Rail Earthwork Asset Managers and Inspectors.
