Building the World’s best digital asset management system

Our founder and CEO launched Pole Star over a decade ago with a vision of building the World’s best digital asset management system utilising his extensive experience of asset management in the rail industry. We believe we’re well on the way to achieving that now.

With over 100 years experience in management at a senior level, we live and breathe asset management daily, working with and supporting our valued clients including Network Rail and TFL. In addition to providing outstanding digital platforms, we have also launched a first-class inspections division utilising our experience and robust systems.

Chief Operations Officer

After 20 years in the software industry, Danny brings a wealth of experience across software engineering, leadership, organisational development and strategy. As well as working with startups, he's trained individals from Facebook, Google, and Deloitte. In the last few years, he's been helping remote-first organisations improve how they collaborate and operationalise their work. After helping Oyster grow to a $1 billion valuation, Danny joined us in 2022 to lead operations.

With over 20 years of experience in enterprise cloud software and sales management, Ben brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Most recently, he worked at Workday for 9 years, serving as Director of Sales for UK and South Africa. Prior to that, he held a variety of sales leadership roles focused on medium and large enterprise customer segments and the education and government business.
Ben is responsible for driving Pole Star's revenue growth and go-to-market strategy across the globe and all industries.
